Government and Civil Society Capacity Building
Right to Protection aims to improve the capacity of civil society to promote reform in migration
Right to Protection aims to improve the capacity of civil society to promote reform in migration, asylum, statelessness and internal displacement and to facilitate policy dialogue between the public authorities and civil society.
We seek to strengthen CSO coalitions and to enhance their capacity to engage with relevant authorities at all levels and to advocate for the reform of national legislation, policies, and administrative practices in line with European standards.
In our acrivity we also reinforce civil society’s ability to guide and monitor the implementation of legal standards, strategies and policies related to migration, asylum, statelessness and internal displacement.
Right to Protection works closely with the Ukrainian government to cultivate increased awareness of the best practices in the fields of border management, migration, asylum, statelessness and internal displacement by undertaking a number of different capacity building activities including training sessions for judges, legal aid providers, State Migration Service officials, the National Police, the State Borderguard Service and others.
