To improve the strategic and operational capacity of the network of local civil society organisations for effective humanitarian response and addressing acute social issues.

Capacity Building for Local Organisations programme enhances the capacity of the civil sector to protect the war-affected population. The Fund’s specialists share their experience and expertise, create and develop sustainable partnerships and networks to increase collective impact.

Civil society organisations (CSOs) are important actors that significantly complement the state’s role in providing social, humanitarian, educational, and other needs of citizens. Therefore, they must develop and become professional, systematic, and accountable in their work.

Who Does the Programme Support?

The programme supports public and charitable organisations providing assistance to IDPs, veterans, people in difficult circumstances, persons with disabilities, and so on.

Areas of Work:

Organisational capacity assessment and mentoring support for organisational development (individual consultations, online and offline trainings, video lessons, information bulletins, networking events, peer-to-peer experience sharing, and webinars by the Fund’s specialists);
Microgrants for local organisations;
Subgrants / partnerships.
